Tim Moher (saxophonist, educator, festival organizer and composer) is a featured  jazz, classical, and ragtime soloist with a wide variety of musical groups including Orchestra London, The Royal City Saxophone Quartet, Wellington Winds, and Band of the Ceremonial Guard in Ottawa. Additionally, Tim is the newest member of the Kitchener-Waterloo band, the 'KW Big Band Theory’.

 

As founder of TMJAZZ, he strives to provide high caliber classical and jazz music for a variety of events. You can hear many of Tim’s original works in his three recent releases (Forest Hill: Summer, Autumn, and Winter). His fourth CD, featuring his newly formed ensemble “Clefs of Moher” features his fresh, new Celtic Jazz compositions.  

 

After a 28 year teaching career with the WCDSB, Tim has recently retired, making room for creating, performing, and promoting music in South Western Ontario. Moreover, Tim founded Belmont Village Bestival in 2017, a  rapidly growing music and arts festival in the beautiful Belmont Village, Kitchener.
